- Chosen by Voters There are sixteen symbolic steps in Pooja which includes welcoming the deity, giving the deity a place to sit, washing the feet of the deity, decorating the deity and offering food items, clothing and money to seek blessings.Fresh flowers, fruits along with specific herbs and plants are offered to the god. Even Pooja involves offering milk, ghee, honey, curd and fruit to the god. Sometimes, the significant coloured flags associated with the deities are planted to symbolise the offerings. The other activities of the Pooja include the singing, chanting mantras, ringing of bells and blowing of Conch shells. It is also believed that Pooja must be offered facing east or facing the sun which symbolizes facing light while offering any Pooja. The Prasadams are given back to the devotees in the form of holy water or ashes or kumkum or flower or fruit or even a full meal.Every object associated with the ritual of Pooja or worship is symbolically significant. There are many hidden meanings of every act of Pooja. The statue or image of the deity called as Vigraha is the idol that is devoid of the ill effects of the planets or 'grahas'.The flower offered to the deity stands for the good things to blossom. The fruits offered symbolize the detachment, self-sacrifice and surrendering. The incense burnt collectively stands for the desires for various things in life. The lamp lighted represents the light of the soul offered to the Absolute. The vermilion or red powder stands for the emotions. There are certain Pooja items commonly used for everyday Pooja. They include betal leaves, supari or betal nuts, jahanav, cotton wicks, kumkum, turmeric, abir, sandalwood sticks and camphor. This video may or may not be relative to what you are looking for."25 Kala Bhairava Secrets"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxp6clS6_… 8 months ago 100% 1 Vote

I worked as a HHA back in college for a couple of years through a nursing registry. The schedule all depends on the assignments you accept. The clients set the hours ~ you can choose to take them or not. Some of the assignments I had included:I once had a long term assignment in a retirement home when I worked 6 days a week from 8-5, carrying for an elderly couple.I had another assignment once where I had to move into an elderly women's home for 2 weeks to assist a FT nurse. For that job, I was basically "on" 24/7Some of my jobs were as "night babysitter" for seniors from 10pm to 7 am….I was there just in case of an emergency.Other jobs were babysitting disabled children for a few hours during the day while the mom could go shopping.See? It all really depends. I do know this ~ the more available you are, the more assignments you land. 11 months ago 1 person rated this as good Thankss

For starters, I would see if there is an agency that can recommend someone. I hate to be cynical, but so many of the people have sticky fingers and abuse the situation. They don't watch the patient as they should or abuse them. I know it is a heart breaking decision, but if he is really bad enough it may be time to start talking to an assisted living center or nursing home. MY grandmother passed away 2 months ago from Alzheimers and she became so confused at home that it wasn't safe anymore. Make sure to ask about their expertise in the field and do a background check! 4 years ago All the answers were thoughtful, but this one kind of read my mind! Good luck to all!

- Chosen by Voters Unfortunately, there are none. If you have an attack and no inhaler is available, get a brown paper grocery sack, seal it around your face and neck, and breath into it until the attack is over. But that is not a cure, just a temporary help.Best "cure" is prevention — which is keeping your indoor air clean and using furniture that isn't upholstered, no carpet, no pets (except for hypoallergenic poodles which don't have pet dander–they come in different sizes), use dustmite casings on the mattresses and box springs, no curtains, wash bedding in hot water every week, keep windows closed and use the A/C (with clean filters), etc.I sure wish there was a home remedy for you.

- Chosen by Voters use a bacterial wipe cloth on toilet seat after she uses it, and before you use it, anytime you are handling her skin or soiled clothing use rubber gloves, and after taking them off use bacterial hand cleaner. Usually if you don't have an open sore you can't get it. You probably could not sue her due to the fact that you knew she needed home care and agreed to care for her regardless of her disease or condition. If you are that easily freaked out over something like this you are either very inexperienced for this job or not very trained in home care in the first place. How do you know what else she has? You should have records on this with notes from the doctor that states all conditions. It also should be stated on the med charts. So your homework or change jobs for you well being and hers.
