I am planning on buying a striped peacock eel, dinoaour bichir, red tailed shark, bala shark, 5 silver dollars, 5 black khuli loachs and, three rubber lip plecos. Will all these fish get along?
The kuhli loaches would become food. Other than that bala shark get to a foot long and are schooling fish and require a huge tank
Dinosaur bichir? I’ve never heard nor have an Internet info on this species of polypterus. Saying that it’s hard to say. Some o these species get 2 feet long – others 14 inches in length. This fish will eat anything it can stick into its mouth. So if your able to get this fish small and the silver dollars medium to large you maybe okay. Red tail shark as well. Polypterus can and will eat these fish if it can stick it into its large mouth.
I have one! Any and all fish I introduce into my aquarium I take this into serious consideration. Mine is 6 inches long now. I have full grown Congo Tetra @ 3 inches and expect them to be an expencive snack in the future.
So- with your fish list. I would say the silver dollars have to be big. Polypterus must me small. Same as red tail, and bala. The eel as well!
Maybe repost with tank size, polypterus (species too) and ask poss tank mates? With this information I could help you more
1. look up what a red tailed shark is, then check to be sure you want it still.(hint: you don’t)
2. you don’t say what sized tank
3. what do you need any plecos for, let alone three of them ? That’s a waste of space/biologic room.
Yes they will I have one of each at my friends house since she has a fishtank an I don’t she has my fish
